This book was good as a cozy mystery type novel. For me, the characters were a bit bland and cardboard, but I must be quick to point out that this is a personal preference. For those who enjoy cozy mysteries, with old-style characterization and plotting, you will likely enjoy this book very much. For those with a more modern taste (indie or more "realistic" characters -- the modern wounded hero), you might move on to something else.Product details

I've really been enjoying this series, since the characters are so believable. The first book swept me into the lives of the characters, and filled me with memories of cruises I've been on myself, people I've met, new travel friends that happen along the way on a journey. I felt as if I were back on holiday, reading each of the character's stories.
Book two is an excellent extension of the characters stories, and no one ever wants to let go of characters we've fallen in love with! The romance is heart warming, and the 'short story' element of the individual character's lives makes for a cosy read on a cold winter's afternoon. The author's descriptions of decor, design, food and clothing, as well as the quaint British lifestyle, all made me feel as if I were running away on a holiday, from the comfort of my reading nook!
Loved it as I enjoy travel and this was a different slant on cruising.
Ruth Hays always is a good read. Refreshing characters and interesting plots.
I throughly enjoyed this book...once again Ruth Hay grabbed me from the beginning and kept me captivated until the end. Lookin forest to the sequel!
